Will you guide me during a psychedelic experience?

Yes, but only if it is with the 100% legal option of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.

How can I work with you using Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?

I offer low-dose, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in my private practice in collaboration with the medical team at Illumma Wellness. I also work part-time for Kuya, which allows for a higher therapeutic dose of ketamine via intramuscular injection, as well as a whole host of other therapeutics including float tanks, ice baths, saunas, and IV infusions (vitamins & peptides). Both KAP options are excellent, but figuring out which is right for you and your healing is something we should discuss during your initial phone consultation or intake session.

Additionally, I offer a safe space for anyone who has had or intends to have a psychedelic experience. I also offer a wealth of knowledge on this subject, which I am eager to share. While the cultural perception of psychedelics/plant medicines is certainly shifting, it is not uncommon to find clinicians who judge this type of work as reckless or avoidant behavior. I disagree. I see it as an effort to heal psychic wounds and grow as people. As a patient, you deserve a therapist who can receive you in this way.

What is intention setting?

Intention setting can be a wonderful way to get the most out of your experience and it is something that we can work on together in session. This is also a good subject to bring up with your guide prior to having a psychedelic experience.

What about integration?

Integration is the process of merging the insights gained from a psychedelic experience with that of our every day life. It is the most important step you will take after having had a psychedelic experience. There are a number of ways in which I can help facilitate the process.

A note of caution:

It is important to remember that (within the State of Texas) the purchasing/possession of all classical psychedelics is a Felony drug offense. Taking this lightly is a mistake with potentially serious consequences. Approach new friends and potential guides with great care.

In order to change the culture and legal status of psychedelics, we first need the research support, but second, we need community. A community of people with the shared goal of healing and temperance enough to not go getting in trouble and ruining it for everyone else.
